Hillhead Show 2024

UnitedSeats were well represented at the Hillhead Quarry Show held in Buxton, Derbyshire. Manufacturers were their to show the latest innovations in construction and mining and were in positive spirits.

Liam Wood visited the show and was pleased to visit one of UnitedSeats largest customers, OEM Thwaites. They launched their new 9 tonne dumper, the ROTATOR, which introduced a 360° reverse cab configuration complete with updated user interface and integrated cameras for better driver visibility. ROTATOR, a palindrome, is a suitable name for a dumper that can now be operated in two separate directions with our MGV35 and steering column fitted onto a turntable.

They also launched their new 3 tonne all electric dumper as well as having the new ROPS+ 6 tonne dumper on the stand which offers drivers all the safety features of a cabbed dumper with the additional cost of paying for a cab.

Our MGV35 seat is fitted to all Thwaites dumpers and it is great to be partners with the prestigious manufacturer. Powerbully, a German manufacturer, were showing their tracked 9 tonne dumper, the 9D, which is fitted with our MGV120/C8 Pro seat fitted with POD control arm. Sunward had a nice display of construction vehicles that included our LGV35/C7 seat complete with the Sunward logo along with the CS85/C7 and MGV35 seats and Sany had the MGV35, MGV55 and TOP35 fitted to their excavators and rollers.
