New Heavy Duty ‘Titan’ seat belts for extreme environments

UnitedSeats is expanding its product range with the new Heavy Duty ‘Titan’ seat belts, specifically engineered for use in harsh industrial, mining, and outdoor environments. This development follows feedback from customers operating non-cab machinery such as site dumpers, wheel loaders, forklifts, rollers, and forestry cranes, where seats are constantly exposed to rain, sun, snow, mud, dust, and salt.

Designed with durability and safety in mind, the ‘Titan’ seat belts are built to withstand the toughest conditions. They offer excellent resistance to water, dirt, and debris ingress, ensuring reliable performance even in the most demanding applications. The belts comply with ISO 6683-R16 standards and are SAE-J386 approved for the U.S. market. A key feature is the IP67-rated buckle, which is fully dust-tight and protected against water. Integrated escape vents allow dirt and debris to pass through, making it easy to clean the buckle simply by rinsing it with water-helping to maintain optimal functionality over time. This ensures reliable performance in harsh conditions.

The high-quality webbing is available in black and orange, and the range includes both Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR) and Manual Locking Retractor (MLR) versions.

Available as of June 2026, the ‘Titan’ seat belts will also be integrated into selected UnitedSeats seating solutions for heavy-duty applications, offering enhanced operator safety and more complete seating systems.
