UnitedSeats combine customers ‘special’ trim wishes with ‘Green credential’ fabrics

UnitedSeats is the own brand range from Dutch based EBLO Seating and the company has an in-house trim department that provides special trim or re-trimming solutions according to customers wishes. This can involve leather, PVC, or fabric upholstery and specialist foam work.

While we have nice standard fabrics and coverings, customers often look for bespoke solutions to match cabin interiors or office environments.

Regain® fabric with 100% ‘Green credentials’
Over the last three years we have started introducing the Regain® fabrics to our dealer network. Leading the way in recycling and sustainability, this soft and durable material is created entirely of plastic bottles which are turned to yarn in a 4 stage process creating this superb fabric. This has lead to many car manufacturers, including the new electric Renault 5 which features a similar fabric created from recycled bottles through the interior.

This is a unique 100% sustainable material that is approved for 100,000 rubs on the Martindale abrasion testing making it ideal to use in vehicles and in office environments, where it also meets CRIB 5 requirements. With its exemplary wear characteristics, we have started to use this for customers choosing to match their new seat to the interior of their classic tractor.

As can be seen in these John Deere applications, this Spanish customer selected Regain® ‘Hazel’ fabric to match the décor in his selection of John Deere tractors in keeping with the original brown interior.

Our UK based dealer, Tractor Parts, also featured the Rancher, CS85/C1 and MGV84/C6 with the Regain® trim at a recent Vintage tractor show where the attendees were pleasantly surprised to learn that the material was made from plastic bottles.
