SUSTAINABILITY
At UnitedSeats, sustainability is about more than reducing environmental impact. It is an ongoing commitment to innovation, product development and responsible manufacturing. Every day, UnitedSeats works to create seating solutions that not only provide long-lasting comfort and reliability, but also contribute to a more sustainable future.
UnitedSeats seats are 94% recyclable, and we’re taking this a step further. On request, we can fit seats with sustainable upholstery made from 100% recycled PET bottles (REGAIN® fabrics).
This is a unique 100% sustainable material that is approved for 100,000 rubs on the Martindale abrasion testing, making it ideal to use in vehicles and in office environments, where it also meets CRIB 5 requirements. With its exemplary wear characteristics, we have started to use this for customers choosing to match their new seat to the interior of their classic tractor or other machine or vehicle.
Further on, UnitedSeats’ parent company, EBLO Seating in Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands, has progressive goals established to improve the sustainability of a growing organization. EBLO is committed to the continued implementation of the environmental management system to ensure the success of their efforts. This system provides a central location to manage and review objectives and targets to address the significant environmental aspects through a process of continues improvement.
