Workboat seats for marine applications
Workboats boats are typically smaller commercial vessels found in and around the harbour areas, rivers and offshore marine environments. They will support wind farms, domestic fish trawlers, small commercial fish trawlers, aquaculture sites, pilot boats, towing and pushing duties around the harbour, transporting workers or materials offshore, research, navy and rescue boats.
They will often be carrying crew and passengers, so it is very important that they are equipped with suitable seating, such as our mechanical suspension seats including the UnitedSeats CS85/C1, CS85/C7 Pro, MGV120/C8 and MGV35 for example.
The mechanical suspensions absorb the shocks and make for a smooth ride, reducing fatigue and physical stress on the body. The PVC or fabric trimmed uppers are heavy duty and durable, proving very robust in the harsh saltwater environments.
