Our Israeli seating partner Asfir has always provided exceptional seating solutions for end users, but their talents are now being acknowledged at importer level. In this instance they have refurbished the seat position in this large CAT excavator. Over the last 20 years excavator seats have typically become complex at OEM level.
The suspension seat carries heavy pods for the joysticks and a complicated height riser sits between the seat upper and suspension to provide a highly adjustable operating position for the driver.
Whilst an excellent solution on a new machine, these seats become very difficult to service or renovate when the machine gets old due to scarcity of seat, suspension and pods parts and assemblies.

So now the only solution lies in the hands of seat experts like UnitedSeats dealer Asfir who have the knowledge, skills and facilities to rebuild such seats. In this case Joey and his team have used the UnitedSeats C8 PRO AR together with a Sears heavy duty air suspension.
They have also used their adaptor plates made in their in-house metal work shops.
