Many of its production processes are monitored around the clock from advanced control rooms, where operators play a vital role in maintaining safe and efficient operations.
Because control room operators spend extended periods seated while continuously monitoring critical processes, ergonomic support and long-term seating comfort are essential. To improve operator wellbeing and workplace ergonomics, Kemira partnered with UnitedSeats to implement a professional 24/7 seating solution tailored to the demands of its control room environment.

Seating designed for multiple users
One of the key requirements for Kemira was flexibility. Because different employees use the control room throughout the day and night, the seating needed to be easily adjustable for multiple body types and user preferences.
