Mecalac, part of the Fayat Group, is a leading manufacturer of compact construction equipment, based in the United Kingdom. Mecalac produces a wide range of site dumpers.
UnitedSeats started with supplying the UnitedSeats MGV55 for the 6-9 tonne MDX dumpers in 2019. UnitedSeats has evolved with Mecalac to supply the UnitedSeats MGV35 for the TA 1-6 tonne dumpers and the UnitedSeats LGV90/C2 for their marque dumper, The Revotruck.

The UnitedSeats MGv35 and MGV55 construction seats
The UnitedSeats MGV35 & UnitedSeats MGV55 seats are low profile mechanical seats with several advanced safety features suited to construction environments. Both models have been tailored to the requirements of Mecalac for their cabbed and non-cabbed dumpers with an orange switched belt and operator presence switch both combining to ensure that the operators are seated and the belt is engaged before the dumper will move.
The high back UnitedSeats MGV55 is also specified with armrests for added comfort in the larger 6-9 tonne cabbed dumpers.

Safety and vibration standards
Meeting vibration standards ISO7076 EM1 (1-6 tonnes) & EM7 (6-9 tonnes) as well as EN 13490, IT1 & IT2 for forklifts, the UnitedSeats MGV35 & UnitedSeats MGV55 ensure optimal vibration performance which is key for Mecalac site dumpers that are used on rough terrains and all-weather conditions.
With 80 mm of suspension travel, the UnitedSeats MGV35 & UnitedSeats MGV55 reduces whole-body vibration and shocks, contributing to improved operator comfort, reduced fatigue, and increased productivity throughout the working day.
Innovation
UnitedSeats also supplies Mecalac for their innovative rotating cabbed dumper, the Revotruck. The 9-tonne dumper is specified with the UnitedSeats LGV90/C2 air seat with 80 mm stepless height adjustment, 110 mm suspension travel that absorbs all sorts out vibrations and movements you would expect in the field.
With the cab rotating, safety is at its upmost importance, and it again utilises the same operator presence switch and switch belt combination to ensure the driver is safely seated and secure before being able to operate the dumper.
Seat customisation
The UnitedSeats seats can be configured with a wide range of options that include fabric or pvc trim, deluxe armrests, headrest, slide rail configurations, logos in the back cushion or headrest, contact switch options, heated cushions in 12v or 24v. The UnitedSeats modular program suits OEM production and aftermarket applications alike.
