UnitedSeats dealer Asfir makes a total rebuild of a Volvo excavator seat

Our Israeli dealer Asfir recently completed the tough task of rebuilding an integrated pod seat fitted to a Volvo excavator. The original seat was a KAB 55/M4 pod seat that has brackets to support the two joystick pods and also has integral height risers for both the seat and pods.

Asfir rebuilds integrated pod seat

The old seat was quite worn out and the customer wanted air suspension and a nice new seat upper. The Asfir team had to take the seat back to their workshop and re-use the height riser and pod support brackets. They fitted a new Sears air suspension and on top fitted our UnitedSeats C8 Pro seat upper.

C8 Pro provides comfort and adjustment

The UnitedSeats C8 Pro is a very comfortable upper with excellent support and adjustment. It comes complete with armrests, headrest, backrest recline adjustment, lumbar support, seat cushion tilt and cushion extension. Once re-installed, the assembly provided the driver with a brand-new workplace!
