Renowned boat builder, Damen, have selected the C8 AH Synergy Pro in Leather and C1 AR upper for their Stan Tender 1204 which is built from 100% recyclable High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) as they take a step towards circular ship building. The vessel can be used for a pilot boat or for crew transfer operations and therefore required suitable seating throughout.
Seating in marine applications face very different conditions due to the intensity of the vibrations, shocks and movements of a vessel whilst navigating through the water. The vessel required seven passenger seats and one captains seat. The C1 AR upper was supplied in our highly durable leather with the Damen logo on the backrest extension, armrests and a 2-point safety belt for maximum passenger comfort whilst aboard the 1204 vessel.
The C8 AH Pro which was specified for the captain’s seat with its high back upper, seat depth and tilt seat cushion and lumbar support, offers great comfort along with a mechanical suspension to absorb the waves and vibrations.
